Beddys Zippered RV Bedding Puts an End to Difficult RV Fitted Sheets

We’ve all seen those memes on social media with a certain well-known stuffed frog wearing an oxygen mask while the text reads, “Finally got the RV fitted sheet on!” As an RV owner myself, I can relate, especially with a king-sized mattress tucked into the bedroom of my Tiffin. It’s a little easier to put on the RV fitted sheet since we switched mattresses due to an incident that involved a Sleep Number bed set to 100 and the Rocky Mountains…but I digress. Putting on RV fitted sheets is still a pain, and Beddys has developed a remedy.

Beddys recently connected with our RV LIFE Brand Ambassadors Jennifer and Blake (@rvlife_jen) and provided them with the latest edition of their popular bedding alternative to show how attractive, functional, and most of all comfortable the Beddys solution can be.

What is Beddys Zippered RV Bedding?

Beddys Zippered Bedding, or just “Beddys” for short, actually do go on like an RV fitted sheet, however they are easy enough for kids, or perhaps even a certain frog, to install. The exterior comforter is first easily put on the bed and held with heavy-duty elastic, and contains the sewn-in bottom sheet, built right in. The top comforter is then zippered on to that comfy foundation. In between those layers is Beddy’s own soft and cuddly lining.

This zippered separation gives you the warm coziness of a big sleeping bag, but separates easily when temperatures rise or you are ready to wash. You’ll also have a coordinating pillowcase and sham that have flaps to keep your pillows nicely tucked in. This low-strain bottom installation and zippered top is ideal for RVs and RVers. The low-tension fit will also eliminate the “mattress flex” you get when a thin mattress and a tight new RV fitted sheet fight for superiority.

Why Beddys is Better Than a Traditional RV Fitted Sheet

The primary reason RVs might choose Beddys is the ease of installation versus the standard RV fitted sheet. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy Beddys at home too! Beddys zippered bedding comforters are 100% cotton with a subtle sateen finish, so you get comfort and durability. The inner bottom sheet is also 100% cotton, so you get breathability no matter the weather. Making the bed is nothing more than zipping it together. All Beddy’s products are machine washable so you can easily clean them during a laundromat pit stop on a cross-country trip or at home after a weekend campout. The top and bottom of your comforter set can be separated for faster cleaning; just reattach them after they’re dry and slip them on the bed again.

Whether you are choosing Beddys for the comfort and design or simply to avoid putting on those old RV fitted sheets, now is the time to stock up. Beddys are also great for kids that struggle to keep their bed made.  Visit beddys.com to see their entire catalog, or jump straight to the RV bedding

  1. Hey,
Because it is so expensive and you still have to take it off to wash it, (will it fit in your washing & dryer machines), I think sleeping bags will work and more affordable.
